| Testimonials This has been truly a miracle. Thank you! Thank you! It is unbelievable that PST-Vet is non-invasive and requires no medicine and no surgery. Lexi loved the treatments and she did not want to leave the machine to come home.” – Alice D, Titusville, Florida Hello Dr. Hemerson, Our dog Jazz is very active and typically runs 10-12 miles a week with me. In the last 3 years she began to lick her front paws and couldn’t run as fast or long during our weekly outings. Our local vet diagnosed her as having arthritis in the two from paws, elbow joints and her right hip. We began giving Rimadyl but were concerned about some reported instances of liver failure. We researched an ultimately had PST applied to her front paws and elbows by Dr. Sherman (Raleigh, NC). Within 3 days she stopped licking those areas. She then began licking
her back hip (which is next to get the same treatment). Also of note
was a reduction in the width of her paws by about 15%. It was so pronounced
that even our local vet who diagnosed her but did not subscribe to PST’s
benefits (yet) commented on the reduction in size of her paws. Kip "The effectiveness of the pulse-signal therapy was visible in Spirit, a 14-year-old golden retriever who previously suffered from severe arthritis in the hips and elbows. After undergoing treatment with the PST machine, Spirit is living up to her name. "It was absolutely amazing. When she stands, she stands on all
four legs. She stays awake more & she's more interested in what
goes on around her. She can go up and down the stairs much easier now.
It has been absolutely dramatic. This is like a new dog," said
Mimi Grosenbauth, Spirit's owner." - From the Pasadena Star News,
July 12, 2006 "Jessica, soon to be seventeen years old, was getting increasingly less mobile -- her back legs wobbled and she hesitated to jump up to favorite chairs. Sometimes it seemed those back legs just came along for the ride rather than being actively involved in her movements. We frequently had to help her up to her place on our bed at night. She stopped grooming herself for more than a few licks around her front feet. She did not like us to touch her legs or tail. In August she had PST-Vet therapy through Dr. Janeen Smith of All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Verona, Wisconsin. We were somewhat skeptical about having this done, but since her blood work and other signs were good, we decided to go ahead and hope that Jessica could at least be more comfortable in however much time she has left. We weren't sure how she would hold still for those half-hour treatments, but with the portable equipment brought to our house and the skill of the technicians, she accepted the restriction of movement with minimal protest. We have tried not to read too much into her progress since then, but we see remarkable changes each week. She now walks faster and more steadily, claims her spot on her choice of chairs, easily jumps onto our bed. She is grooming farther down on her body with better balance. She is more interactive with us and purrs with pleasure when touched. Our skepticism about PST-Vet has disappeared, and we are enjoying a happy, contented cat again." Margaret "I have been using the PST Vet since 1998 and have treated approximately
300 patients. We have had 85-90% success rate of good to excellent results
with osteoarthritis and have used it successfully for Non-healing Wounds,
OCD, Avascular Necrosis, Meniscal Tears, Non-surgical or Post-surgical
Intervertebral Disc Disease, Chronic Tendonitis and Bursitis, and Removing
Excessive Scar Tissue. I have even had several clients fly to Germany
for treatment for themselves after seeing how much better their dog
did." - Laurie McCauley, DVM TOPS Veterinary Rehabilitation, Grayslake,
IL Samson Our dog Samson – a lab, border-collie mix – had been run over by an SUV in front of our home on a Saturday evening, as we were unloading groceries. We immediately rushed him to the Animal Emergency Treatment Center in Grayslake. It was soon determined that Samson had 6 fractures to both sides of his pelvis, but no damage to his vital organs. He was in a great deal of pain and would require 3 separate surgeries, with no guarantee that he would completely recover physically. Outside of his injuries, he had youth and strength on his side, so it did not take us long to decide to go ahead with the surgeries. Our dog meant too much to us to give up on him. Samson spent a full week at the emergency center, tolerating all 3 surgeries, pain management, and some recovery time. Upon his discharge to home, Samson was still weak and unstable – particularly on his back right leg where one of the fractures involved the weight bearing part of the joint. This made it very difficult for him to stand or walk. We had to support him with a sling so that he could walk without putting any weight on that leg. At his follow-up visit, the emergency center recommended that Samson be taken to TOPS in Grayslake, for physical therapy and rehab. We did not know what to expect, but were hopeful that our once very active dog, who could run faster and jump higher than any of the other dogs at the dog park, would once again be able to run and play Frisbee (his favorite game). This is where our story becomes a sort of miracle. The TOPS staff scheduled Samson for a series of Pulsed Signal Therapy. At first it was difficult to even get him to lie down on his right side, as it was too painful. However, by his 3rd visit, Samson was cooperative and able to switch sides, allowing the pulsation to have a greater effect. We began to see improvement almost immediately. Samson was standing longer and actually starting to put weight on his back right leg. He became more alert and even playful. By the end of his 9 sessions, it was hard to believe that this was the same dog that we had brought in only weeks before. He was stronger, more active, and definitely ready to return to his playful, active self. He was even going up and down stairs on his own – we no longer had to carry him. Now we have more difficulty holding him back, so that he can completely recover without fear of re-injuring himself. Thanks to TOPS and their PST, Samson is back to his old self, and true to his name. He is strong, healthy, and always looking for someone to play Frisbee with him. Had it not been for the Pulsed Signal Therapy, along with the genuine loving care at TOPS, Samson would never have recovered so thoroughly from his injuries. We are now spreading the word about the professional and loving care that Samson received at TOPS Animal Rehab Center. Each at every person at their facility is a genuine animal lover and it shows in the results that the animals achieve. For some dog owners it might have been easier to put their dog to sleep than to put in the time and effort that it has taken to get Samson through his injuries, but we had faith. “You are going to be really happy that you came here,” was an understatement. Every day we are amazed by Samson’s recovery and progress. We can hardly believe that this is the same dog that only weeks earlier, was at deaths door. Thanks to AETC, TOPS and their PST, Samson has a long happy and active life ahead of him. We just hope that we can keep up with him! Marty and Karen O’Donnell - Illinois
